LONG WALK HOME FROM HARLEM

WHAT COMES NEXT? unplanned epilogue:

The dream job mentioned in my previous post did not work out. After submitting my letter of resignation, I walked home: 81 blocks, Harlem to Inwood, through Riverbank State Park, the Heights, Fort Tryon and the Cloisters. Onward.

I’ve since hugged multiple dogs, eaten a lot of tacos, listened to a lot of Josh Groban, bought a new basketball – used three times already at the park across the street, caught a Mentor Project matinee at Cherry Lane Theatre, (re-)learned to shoot free throws…hatching a new pipe dream to play 2-on-2 with JW and the Obamas.

I’ve also watched this video of English Bulldog Rudy running the Westminster “Agility Course”  at the 12″ height countless times for motivation:

CUE: JMS sports montage – (not nearly as cool as Rudy’s) mostly stretching, shooting free throws, walking the woods, writing and reading, drinking lots of coffee and sampling gluten-free baked goods my Partner concocts…

ALSO, CHECK OUT THIS F**KING ONION?!:

Onward.
